SOFTWARE CONTROLS & AUTOMATION
Control and safety systems design for machine automation
Our team can assist in the design and implementation of machine automation in both existing and new systems, at a variety of scales. This can range from basic motion systems to more complex CNC processes.
We can also offer safety system design work up to SIL3, either as an addition to an existing system, or integrated into a wider automation and controls project. This can range from simple access control/emergency stop systems to complex modular safety systems and/or collaborative safety systems, for when automated systems and people are working together, or in close proximity.
Production of hardware prototypes & one-off products
Our team can undertake one-off projects or hardware prototype development using both mechanical and electronic systems, through a mixture of our rapidly developing in-house prototyping workshop and external partners.
Testing & suitability analysis of prototype systems & components
We can assist with suitability testing of prototype systems, subsystems, and component/materials, both electronic and mechanical. Additionally, we can assist with the construction of custom testing jigs and systems to streamline QC testing. Our expert team can also offer analysis of live events orientated products.
DIGITAL CONTENT DESIGN
Visual design & content
Our design team can take the lead on all visual design and creative content support requirements for research projects including designing photo realistic imagery, creating 3D environments, building immersive VR/XR experiences, modelling and rendering.
